Lerchengesang è frutto di una serie rielaborazioni elettroniche di lavori precedenti scritti per vari organici: voce, quartetto d’archi, ensemble, orchestra. I brani originali, attraversando numerose trasformazioni e variazioni a tratti caotiche, diventano sempre più un ricordo sbiadito, “eteree voci lontane” come recita il lied di Brahms dell’op. 70 a cui il titolo del disco si ispira.

Lerchengesang is the result of a series of electronic reworkings of previous works written for various ensembles: voice, string quartet, ensemble, orchestra. The original pieces, going through numerous transformations and sometimes chaotic variations, increasingly become a faded memory, "ethereal distant voices" as the Brahms lied of op. 70 to which the title of the disc is inspired.
